TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER THE SANDS/EAST END LONG CLAWSON

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above locations. Due to increased carriageway deterioration an extension to the work duration is required. The rolling road closure, and no waiting and no loading restriction (on both side of the road) required on The Sands and East End on 4 th September 2024 will now be in place for 5 working days (09:00hrs – 15:00hrs). The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been implemented for public safety, so Leicestershire County Council can carry out carriageway surface repair works. The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: - Back Lane, Sand Pit Lane, West End Melton Road, Clawson Road, Waltham Lane Long Clawson and vice versa.
