Parish Council Vacancy in the Nether Broughton Ward

Parish of Broughton and Dalby NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for Broughton ward of Broughton and Dalby Parish Council.

If, within 14 days* after the date of this notice, a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer, Parkside, Station Approach, Burton Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1GH by ten electors for the area an election will be held to fill the said vacancy. Otherwise the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council by co-option.
